Our scope
We cover one question: whether a paid Revolut plan is justified by the RevPoints it earns, valued as Flying Blue miles or one of the other airline programmes RevPoints transfer to. We also compare Revolut with Wise and Curve on the specific features that matter for that decision. We do not review products we cannot verify from published terms.
Where the numbers come from
- Primary sources first. Plan fees and RevPoints earn rates are taken from Revolut's own published pricing and rewards pages for the region shown. Transfer ratios come from Revolut's and the airline's published partner terms. We link to the source wherever a figure is quoted.
- Mile valuations are estimates. The value we place on a Flying Blue mile (and other programme miles) is our own estimate, informed by published third-party valuations and the cost of representative award redemptions. Other analysts reasonably arrive at different figures, and the calculator lets you set your own value. Our method is explained on the guide page.
- Exchange rates used for currency display are pulled from a public rates feed at the time you use the calculator and may differ from the rate your bank applies.
How often we check
Revolut changes plan pricing and earn rules by market, often with limited notice. We aim to re-check every fee, earn rate and transfer ratio against its source at least monthly and immediately after any announced change. Each page carries a "last reviewed" date in the footer; if it is more than 60 days old, treat the figures with extra caution and confirm them in the Revolut app before paying for a plan.
Independence and advertising
- RevPoint Genius is not owned by, affiliated with, or paid by Revolut, Wise, Curve, Air France-KLM Flying Blue or any airline.
- The site may display advertising and contains affiliate links, which are labelled where they appear and explained in our affiliate disclosure. If you open an account through one of those links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no input into our figures, verdicts or comparisons.
- We do not accept payment for reviews, placements or rankings.
Corrections
If you spot a fee, earn rate or ratio that is wrong or out of date, please tell us through the contact page, ideally with a link to the official source. We aim to verify and correct genuine errors within seven days and note material corrections on the affected page.
Use of automated tools
We use software to build the calculator and to help draft text. Every published figure is checked by a person against its official source before it goes live. No page is published without human review.
